Over the surface is a action-comedy film aimed for everyone.
The story is around a grumpy, unlucky fisherman keeps trying to get rid of the toddler he accidentally fished out of the sea but thanks to his persistent octopus assistant and a lot of bad luck, he might just end up stuck with both.
It was animated with a combination of frame by frame animation in order to be able to handle the characters lively expression and multiple angles.
